Li Qingzhao

Li Qingzhao è stata una famosa poetessa cinese vissuta tra il 1084 e il 1155. Nata a Jinan, provincia dello Shandong, in una famiglia di studiosi, il padre era un professore accademico e un famoso saggista, mentre la madre era una rinomata poetessa discendente del primo ministro Wang Kung-ch'en. Li Qingzhao sposò Zhao Mingcheng, un noto antiquario, nel 1101. Tuttavia, il loro matrimonio fu interrotto nel 1129 dalla morte di Zhao Mingcheng durante la loro fuga dalla dinastia Juchen, che aveva preso il controllo di Kaifeng, la capitale della dinastia Song.
