  1. Italiano: In cinese si dice 成语 (chéngyǔ) una locuzione idiomatica formata da quattro caratteri.
    Si tratta di modi di dire rimandanti a situazioni storiche o letterarie, adoperati frequentemente nella parlata comune per comunicare un concetto sotto forma di analogia.
    In giapponese la medesima struttura viene chiamata Yoji-Jukugo (四字熟語, よじじゅくご).
  2. 中文: 成语是个习惯用语的一种,四个字组成.
    是人们在长期实践和使用过程中提炼出的语言结晶,也是修辞手段的集中体现。成语一般来自于古代经典、著名著作、历史故事、民间传说等,具有通常都具有鲜明的形象和浓厚的民族色彩特征。
  3. English: In Chinese it is called a ChengYu (成语, chéngyǔ) an idiomatic set phrase formed by 4 characters. They are idioms referring an historical or literature situation, often used in the common speech to convey a concept as an analogy.
    In Japanese the same structure is called (四字熟語, よじじゅくご).
